Our beef, pork, and lamb is all born and raised in Montana, mostly within a few miles from the processing facility on the Weber Ranch and River Bottom Beef Ranch. Limiting transportation and feedlot confinement allows the animals to get more natural grass, exercise, and reduces stress. All of these practices contribute to the unmatched bold flavor of our Montana grown products.

Our Story
Bar MW Meats is locally owned and operated by Walker Weber, Megan Weber, and Tucker Weber. The Weber family is a 7th generation Montana ranching family that has been farming and ranching in the Bitterroot Valley since the mid 1800’s. Along with ranching and farming, our Montana processing heritage runs deep. Walker & Tucker’s great-great grandfather operated a meat market in Two Dot, MT during the early 1900’s. Their grandparents, Wally & Donna Weber, also established and operating Hamilton Packing Company in Hamilton, MT from 1969-1989 before getting back into the ranching business.
Our strong agriculture roots and love for Montana pulled us all back to the Bitterroot Valley. It wasn’t long before we realized that local producers were having bottle neck issues because of regional processing capacities, limiting the production of Montana meat products available to consumers. It seemed that a processing facility dedicated to Montana sourced products was a must for both the producers and consumers of Montana.
The idea of designing, building, and creating Bar MW Meats started becoming a reality in 2021. After a great deal of planning and preparation, ground was broke in May of 2022 on the Weber Ranch’s old hay yard off of Quast Lane in Corvallis, MT. We all put our engineering and construction backgrounds to work and in a short 10 months Bar MW Meats opened for business in March of 2023.
Since then, we have stayed true to our intentions and have worked to expand our exclusively Montana sourced products that can be found in our fully stocked retail meat counter. The majority of our retail and share beef can be seen from the butcher shop on the surrounding pastures. We have also worked with Montana producers in an effort to help them best market their Montana livestock products and make these products more available to consumers. Growing and sustaining Montana agriculture has always, and always will be one of our top priorities.
